What’s with a ‘drone’ dragonfly and a strutting hen? Probably, nothing. The only clue is that the artist Raduan Man, who happened to carve the images, keeps a farm for animals and livestock, and there, you get all kinds of insects for company. What the lone hen with a short coxcomb is doing prowling is not known, but the airborne dragonfly does fuel conjecture. Dragonflies are not that tame as they appear with their sharp mandicles, and they can intercept their prey in midair as their two sets of wings could work independently, meaning they are agile and could make swift turns. They are actually amphibious; as as larvae, they could stay in water for up to even two years! They could make tasty snacks for the hen passing by, but even with wings, the hen could scarcely fly high.
