Within Her, An Exhibition of Women Artists organised by Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers, centers on artworks produced by a new generation of woman artists in Malaysia, alongside three international artists from Japan and Russia. Bringing together a vibrant selection of artworks, the exhibition offers new perspectives on modern life through the voices of women artists, whose practices encompass diverse themes, mediums, and approaches. The exhibition explores six key themes: Nature, Memory, Love, Resilience, Tradition, and Inner Emotions. Together, these works offer an expansive and deep insight into the ways women artist’s experience and move through everyday life and the issues that concern them. Within Her celebrates the distinct journeys of women artists, inviting audiences to encounter the world through their perspectives, memories and lived experiences.
