The artist, Lee Weng Fatt is known for his works of heritage building facades and monuments. On offer here is a glimpse of rural life in a kampung. The lady is feeding her roosters amidst the tranquil ambience of the kampung. Roosters are a popular animal to breed as they serve as a guard and defender against perceived and actual danger to the flock. Lee Weng Fatt graduated with a Diploma in Art & Design at the Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 1989. He started painting watercolours before switching to oil in 1995. His first solo was at the Art Salon, Kuala Lumpur, called Harng Kai /Jalan Jalan in 1994, then at other venues in Kuala Lumpur like Joshua Fine Art Gallery (2000), Art House (2004) and TJ Fine Art (2010).
