Hana Zamri is a contemporary artist whose practice delves into themes of identity, roots, and the exploration of self. Having lived in various countries including China, Croatia, and Sudan, her experiences abroad deeply informs her work. Through her emotive visual language, she conflates the imagery of maps and terrains with fragmented depictions of the human body into intimate landscapes of memory. In Ovaryaction, Hana’s refined layering of warm and subtle browns, accompanied with rhythmic lines, evoke the richness of the earth’s terrain.
She completed her degree in Architecture at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, and later pursued her Masters in Fine Art at the University Teknologi Mara.
