Tri is a painter known for his soft and delicate portrayals of women, rendered with confident brushwork. What immediately captures the viewer’s attention are the serene expressions of his subjects often depicted with their eyes gently closed, as if they are in a reflective mode. Through his nuanced use of soft colours, he conveys emotional depth through the interplay of light and shadow. His works suggest that a woman’s beauty extends far beyond the surface, they emerge from the quiet resilience and inner fortitude within.  Coming from an artistic family, he forged his own path and has received several awards for his artistic achievements. In 2009, he won a prize for his painting Portrait at the Biennial Exhibition held at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts University. The following year, in 2010, he received Second Prize for his work Innocence at the South Region Exhibition, Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum. Over the years, Tri has presented both solo and group exhibitions in Vietnam as well as abroad, including in Japan and the United Kingdom. His works are held in numerous private collections across the USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK.
