Harlen Kurniawan is an Indonesian artist from Padang Sumatra. He owned an art gallery in Yogyakarta named Garis Art Space. As an abstract painter his works are inspired from his daily life and personal experience. Some of his solo exhibition includes "(re)Birth" held at Rumah Seni Embun, Medan in 2011, "Journey" held at ViaVia Cafe, Yogyakarta in 2012 and "Fragmented Mirror" held at Garis Art Space, Yogyakarta in 2015. The artist had also actively participated in group exhibitions locally and abroad, e.g. Singapore and USA. Kurniawan is a multi-talented artist. He works as a furniture designer and also delves into poetry in his spare time.
