A favourite subject of Lam Le Siang is the recollections of a carefree village life from the early days. His garden is filled with charming village damsels dressed in batik, surrounded by flora and fauna. The ladies exude femininity, with graceful long necks and elegant hand movements enriched with vibrant patterns on the sarong. A graduate from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore in 1974, Lam Le Siang has participated in several exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, and Penang.
