Syahmi Syazwin’s dreamy compositions explore the space between the real and the imagined, informed by personal experience and breaking the limits of spatial boundaries. Reminiscent of a scene from Alice in Wonderland, three rabbits are enmeshed within a field of verdant mushrooms, set against an expanse of blue sky. Syahmi graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in painting from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2021. Syazwin has participated in several group exhibitions in Malaysia, including Tribute to Malaysians (2021) at Galeri Prima and Sebilik (2021) at Segaris Art Centre.
