It is a blessing to be able to spend time with one’s siblings. Memories such as these are forever cherished in the mind. In this work, the three sisters wear the same outfits, and are united by the batik garments. The artist captures a strong sense of being with loved ones and the idea of belonging. Meticulous patterns ranging from the motifs on the boats, nets, baskets, and the sarong clothes reflect local heritage and culture.
