Sehijau I is a poetic and lyrical piece which reveals the artist’s continued exploration on the theme of nature. Through his captivating works of art, the artist brings to light the ephemeral qualities of nature, and the importance of its preservation through intricate brushwork and strong colours. A sense of airiness and subtle effects of light is observed in this work, executed in a lush palette of green with a combination of organic shapes.
