The artist’s response to the world around him is expressed through pop culture iconographies and symbolism. Ruzzeki Harris won the Gold award in the 2018 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia). Reflective of the surrealist aims of liberating thought, these paintings represent the contemplations of the artist on current issues. Inscribed on the banana are the wordings: "And war" says fool. Conflicts should be resolved peacefully through negotiations. In 2007, Ruzzeki Harris completed his Bachelor (Hons.) Fine Arts, Majoring in Painting, in UiTM Shah Alam, Malaysia.
