Color stands as an important principle in Suzlee’s artistic practice, serving as a unique expression of the emotions experienced at various moments in time. Initiated in 1994, his Movement Series remains a significant aspect of his oeuvre, embodying his conviction that movement is synonymous with life, for every living being exists in motion. Initially rooted in his admiration for turtles, the series grew to reflect his broader devotion to nature and wildlife. In this work, the artist employs a lyrical palette of yellow, orange, blue, and red, punctuated by black strokes that suggest a sense of freedom and movement.
