A mother’s love knows no bounds, defined by quiet endurance and care. Her sacrifices are vast and often unspoken, involving not only time and effort but the gradual reshaping of her own identity in the act of raising another life. These sacrifices remain a secret, they are woven into the fabric of daily life. In Ibu, Alisya captures the subject’s inner world through her gentle, contemplative expression, accentuated by a batik headpiece that conveys cultural traditions and quiet dignity.
