It’s a lazy day with two boats idling by on a bright day. This is a common scene that can be found in most part of the east coast line. One can indulge in a very calming ambience just by sitting and staring at it whilst inhaling a fresh sea breeze. Yusoff Abdullah belonged to the Angkatan SePelukis Malaysia generation of Dato’ Hoessein Enas, known for portraitures, landscape and historical events, executed in batik, oil and watercolour. He was the first Malaysian to exhibit in the former Soviet Socialist Republic in 1978, displaying his batik works at the Oriental Art Museum in Moscow. He was also a freelancer photographer and once even set up an art gallery called Gallery 12 in a joint venture in Kota Bharu.
