Besides painting human figures, animals, Balinese dancers, Buddha images and still life, Ahmad Zakii Anwar has also expanded his creative oeuvre in other media such as digital photography and print. In 2018, Zakii produced a limited edition of lithography entitled Mephisto that was created at the historic Idem lithography workshop in Paris. Alongside Jalaini Abu Hassan, Zakii presented the artworks created at the workshop in an exhibition called Stoned In Paris that was held at Cult Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. Zakii also participated in a residency programme at Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI), Singapore in February 2005. At the end of the residency, he presented an exhibition called Primordial Dream. The expressions of the figures are well captured in this set of work.
