Observing how children would daydream after waking up from a nap, Sayuti defines the face of a child with a distinct shaft of light descending from the left. He used contrasting shadows to delineate different areas, from the folds of the child's clothes to the background. The swift handling of the background with charcoal conveys a sense of immediacy. Sayuti Chik Tajudin received his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 1977. Sayuti has significant experience across advertising and creative industries, and was the senior creative head at the New Straits Times Group from 1983 to 2009. Throughout his career, he has advised, managed and collaborated with creative services and consultants for various government ministries and finance institutions. During his tenure, he has worked together with designers to create the now iconic TV3 logo, which was selected and awarded from numerous proposals and competitions. In 1998, he lead a team of designers in creating MY PC Logo Design for Microsoft & New Straits Times Press in 1998. The logo was selected and approved by former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir and Microsoft's CEO Bill Gates. In recognition of his work, Sayuti received the Special Media Initiative Award 2002/2003, presented by the minister of culture, art and tourism.
