Home sweet home — this piece comprises a collection of seemingly random household objects, with the house being the center of attention. Though looking random, these objects prompt one to remember objects and their significance in their own homes. Probably these objects are related to the artist’s memories and growing-up experiences. The car plate ‘AN154’ seems to be in similar shape of his wife’s name, ‘ANISA’. Mohd. Khairul Izham graduated with B.A. of Fine Arts (Painting) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam. He has participated in shows like Dis-chromatic (2010), Malaysian Emerging Artist Award (2011), Deceitful Truths (2011) and shows held at Taksu, Whitebox Publika, Curate Henry Butcher, etc.
