As one of the artistic Nik brother’s trio, Nik Mohd Shahfiz developed his own distinctive style marked by his observations and personal memories that form part of the experience of contemporary life. His artworks often express concerns over humanity and development in new technologies. He draws attention to the display of an impressive sculpture of a riding soldier in a museum exhibit, forming a link between the historical past and the present. The connection between an artwork and its viewer has transcended across centuries, and the understanding and perception of a work’s context could evolve through the passage of time. Nik Mohd Shahfiz has a Diploma in Fine Art from the Faculty of Art & Design of Universiti Teknologi MARA. He received a Bachelor (Hons) in Fine Art from the same university. He has participated in group exhibitions in Malaysia and abroad. In 2016, he won First Runner Up Winner of Nando's Perify Your Art-Alive in 2014 and Second Runner Up of Nando's Art Initiative - Your Art Your Story in 2016.
