Description
Hoang Dinh Tai studied at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts from 1974 to 1979. Specialising in the medium of lacquer, he has continually pushed the boundaries of the medium, transforming traditional techniques into works of refinement. His paintings are distinguished by their lyrical compositions, and poetic sensibility. He was honoured with the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2007.
