Beauty Of Malaysia #6, with its dynamic arrangement of intricate batik fabrics and bright colours, is mesmerizing. Several natural elements were integrated into the composition, including three flying pigeons, a birdcage, wood carvings, and banana trees, while suggesting the gentle folds on the fabric. The abundance of the tropics is reflected in the succulent leaves of the banana tree and sunny weather. Tony Ng was trained at Kuala Lumpur College of Art with a diploma in Fine Art. An emerging Malaysian artist, Tony Ng plays on the aesthetics of batiks, sarongs, textiles and elevates the splendour of the sarong designs.
