Executed on a monumental scale, this single art piece is created from the artistic collaboration between four talented artists at the beginning of their blossoming art careers. Bridging fresh perspectives and expertise in different skills, the artists have combined their distinctive strengths to create a dynamic reimagination of kampung life. The rural landscape and people were characterised in the style of cartoons which gives a playful aesthetic, executed with contemporary painting effects that exemplifies an elevated shared vision. Chickens are reared as a stable source of food, for both their meat and eggs. The slaughtered chickens are handled by the culinary chefs, presenting them as delicious meals, served with 'Peri-peri' flavours. Adults may also use their reared chickens (pets) to compete for 'beauty contest', or cock fighting, while kids are just merely having fun chasing the chickens.
