Description
Sharon Chin has participated in important international exhibitions, presenting her work at major platforms including the Asian Art Biennial in Taiwan, National Gallery Singapore's Figuring A Scene (2024-2025), and the Singapore Biennale. In Malaysia, she has exhibited at Ilham Gallery, the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, while also curating and participating in projects including Shrineshare (2025). Her recent exhibitions include In The Skin Of A Tiger: Monument To What We Want (Tugu Kita) held at the Singapore Biennale 2019, and Local Flora: Patterns by Sharon Chin (in collaboration with Bogus Merchandise) at Chan + Hori Contemporary, Singapore in 2017. Her works are in the collection of Singapore Art Museum and Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art. Sharon was awarded the Prince Claus Fund 2023 Mentorship Award for Cultural & Artistic Responses to the Environmental Crisis. Recently, her work won the Judges' Pick at MR. DIY Art Competition 2026, Established Artist category.
