Presented on offer is a lovely lilac batik that was left lying on the ground. The detailed motive on the textile is intricately drawn to its finest. The light and shadow further enhanced the beauty of the subject. Dried leaves are seen covering the ground while a layer of sunlight appears subtly giving it a cooling ambiance to the scene. Tony Ng was trained at Kuala Lumpur College of Art with a diploma in Fine Art. An emerging Malaysian artist, Tony Ng plays on the aesthetics of batiks, sarongs, textiles and elevates the splendour of the sarong designs.
