Going Insane To Stay Sane draws a parallel contrast between the aesthetics of figurative realism and the spontaneity of line drawing. Partial views of the face were dissected and re-arranged to achieve a unified image. An imaginative realm emerged though the exploration of facial forms, integrated with the experience from everyday life. The composition richly conveys an element of fantasy in vibrant colours.
