In Kampung Orang Asli 3, the foundations of an indigenous village settlement are expressed through linear forms. He transformed the planes and features of the structure into organised sections of geometrical shapes. Sanip is a veteran artist who has painted for over 60 years. He was one of the early Malays who graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, in 1961. His is a lifelong devotion to landscape with series such as Sri Mersing, Endau-Rompin, Gunung Ledang and Gelorasa. He was also a past president of the Johor Artists Society and the Johor Historical Society.
