An emerging artist, Kide’s brightly coloured canvases reveal the old-world atmosphere of a small town, depicting stories with a neighbourly spirit of community. These unique works portray his fascination for local traditions, imbued with a strong sense of history and culture. Kide Baharudin studied graphic design in UiTM and specialised in illustration. He won the Vans Asia Custom Culture contest in 2017 and made illustrated posters for the House of Vans Asia Tour. His solo exhibition ‘Pe’el’ by Kide Baharudin was exhibited at Tun Perak Co-Op, Kuala Lumpur. He also participated in group exhibition held at Segaris Art Center, KL.
