First exhibited at Galeri Citra in 1989, Dato' Yusof Ghani's Siri Tari has become one of the most acclaimed and iconic bodies of work in his oeuvre. Inspired by dance, an ancient form of artistic expression, the series explores movement, emotion, and narrative through expressive forms. In this composition, fluid and rhythmic lines animate the figures in motion. The interplay of gestural lines and mark making lends the figures a sense of volume and spatial depth, reinforcing the dynamism of their movement within the composition.
