In Lumut, nature is expressed in serene colours and play of light that evoke varied moods. Fauzul Yusri's works are based on intuition comprised of gestures, and symbolic phrases written on canvas, emphasizing with vigour the composition of elements and textures. Beneath the raw layers of expression, the artist conveys narratives composed of drawings and markings of subconscious meanings.
